Sammy is inspired by organizations that bring communities together.

He is proud to be on the New 42 Board of Directors, opening new worlds to young people and families at the New Victory Theatre.
 
He is a Supporting Teaching Artist and Associate Board Member for CO/LAB Theater Group, a non-profit organization offering individuals with developmental disabilities a creative and social outlet through theater. In April 2020, he was honored as the Artistic CO/LABorator of the Year: watch the video here.

Recently, he joined the board of TYA/USA, the leading national organization for the professional field of theatre for children and families, representing over 1,000 member theatres, organizations, and individual artists across 47 states.
